Watch Alejandro do a bit of stand-up comedy! In this clip he tells the following joke in Spanish:

There is a knock at the door. So the man walks downstairs, opens the door and finds a man that has been drinking a little bit too much. The drunk guy says "please can you give me a little push", the man says "get out of here you damn drunk!". The man walks upstairs and his wife asks him, "who was that?" he says,"some drunk that wanted me to give him a push". the wife then says "remember the time we got stuck with the car, you should really give him a hand." So the husband says "ok, you're right, I should." He walks downstairs and opens the door. Its really dark, so he shouts, "who's the one that needed the push?" guy says, RIGHT HERE ON THE SWING!

La Tortura was named Song of the Year at the Latin

Billboard awards 2006. Watch the two of them

collect their award. Shakira runs up first to get it

and then she hands it to Alejandro and tells him it's

really his award, for his house. She tells him she

loves him as a brother and as a friend. She calls him

a genius and says that she's learned a lot from him.
